Level D

The overall objective of the SE-ZERT® Level D is for participants to understand the methods and procedures of systems engineering in all their facets within the context of systems tasks and to be able to apply them in fundamental areas. In addition, this course aims to bridge the gaps caused by varying educational backgrounds. The primary learning objective for Modules 1 through 9 is “understanding,” while the learning objective for requirements management, V&V, SE management, and implementation processes is “application.” Level D has been specifically developed for universities that teach systems engineering in accordance with ISO 15288 and the INCOSE Handbook as part of a master’s degree program. These degree programs are qualified and accredited as training providers. Consequently, only graduates of these programs may register for the exam.
