The SE-TREC
SE-TREC GmbH is responsible for:
- Conducting and participating in research projects to promote science and education in the field of systems engineering in industry, research, and academia in Germany,
- Publishing materials in print and electronic media
- Conducting audits of quality management systems and evaluating examinations regarding knowledge of systems engineering systems and associated quality management systems, as well as certifying such systems
- Organizing and conducting scientific events and trade shows related to such systems
- Providing consulting and services of all kinds related to systems engineering
The Role of SE-TREC at SE-ZERT
SE-TREC GmbH is responsible for the practical implementation of the SE-ZERT:
- organizes exams
- verifies eligibility requirements
- provides examiners
- conducts exams
- manages the certification processes
Once the exam has been passed, GfSE ultimately issues the certificate.
SE-TREC GmbH is the cooperation partner for the organization and implementation of the SE-ZERT® program of GfSE e.V. and thus assumes the role of an examination agent. Through personal certification in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17024, an employee demonstrates that an impartial body has assessed and confirmed their competence for specific tasks. The exams are conducted as individual exams in group testing sessions at SE-TREC GmbH, at training providers (depending on the course), or at companies or universities (minimum number of participants required). In these cases, an examiner from SE-TREC GmbH visits the location to administer the exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, a certificate is issued by GfSE e.V. (certification body) as an independent organization.
